| As tenants in the Center
for Nonprofits, nonprofit organizations will
be able to save money on rent and utilities,
allowing them to focus valuable resources on
services for their clients. In
addition, with the Center becoming a
community-gathering facility, many civic
organizations are anticipating moving their
weekly meetings to the Center. The
Northwest Arkansas Community College will
hold their culinary classes on the campus
and will be available to cater meetings and
in-house fundraising events. |

The facility is on an Ozark
Transit bus route and will allow local residents to
access multiple services in a single,
conveniently-located space.
In addition to the specific goals below, future
plans call for the establishment of an in-house
print shop; fundraising space; and community and
tenant meeting space.
Specific Goals:
- To establish a regional
facility that provides a dynamic and
collaborative environment in which a minimum of
25 nonprofits can develop and deliver
high-impact services;
- To build and enhance the
synergy between resident nonprofits through a
dynamic yet cyclical community needs assessment
and planning process;
- To work in collaboration with
other funders and nonprofits to develop and
deliver capacity building and shared services,
such as human resources, purchasing, accounting,
and technology skills;
- To reduce the number of
nonprofit capital campaigns, eliminating at
least five campaigns, and realizing a savings of
a minimum of $20 million to local funders;
- To create an environmentally
and financially sustainable campus and encourage
revitalization and economic development at the
gateway to downtown Rogers.
Costs:
Most non profit organizations who
relocate to the Center for Nonprofits will realize
direct savings on their current rent and utility
costs, thus freeing up those funds to provide direct
services to their clients and/or programs. The
Center's tenants will initially pay approximately $6
per square foot, but as more organizations move in,
the hope is to reduce this further.
